Set up the Board.
Place the Quinto®
game board on a flat surface with plenty of room around
the board. |

Form Teams
and Seat Players.
Choose teams and seat players around the board as follows: |

2 or 3 players
(no teams): Players
sit opposite each other. |
| |
• |
4, 6, 8, or 10 players
(two teams):
Players from each team sit alternately around the game
board. |
| |
• |
6 or 9 players (three
teams): Players
from each team sit alternately every third player around
the game board. |

| 3. |
Pass
out Chips.
Select the color of the chips to be used by each team
for the entire game and pass out a stack of the appropriate
color chips to each player: |

2 players or teams:
Use the red and blue
chips for game play and white chips for crowning Quintos. |

• |
3 players or teams:
Use the red, blue, and white chips for game play and
the same color chips for crowning Quintos. |

| 4. |
Select a Dealer.
The Dealer shuffles the cards and deals the appropriate
number of cards as shown in the Rules. For the
remainder of the game, each player takes turns being
the Dealer, rotating clockwise. |

| 5. |
Elect a Scorekeeper.
At the end of each round, the official Scorekeeper records,
on the score card, the points obtained by each team. |
