| This
game requires careful attention to the cards played by the
previous player, as each player attempts to play their cards
in sequence: |
 |
| 1. |
The Dealer shuffles
the Quinto® cards and
deals thirteen cards, face down, to each player.
He/she then places the remaining cards face down in
the draw pile. The players should organize their
cards by denomination. |
|
| 2. |
The person to the
left of the Dealer begins by laying down the lowest
card he/she has in any suit and places a chip on one
of the corresponding spaces on the Quinto®
board. The second player plays the next card in
sequence in any suit and places his/her chip on one
of the corresponding spaces on the Quinto®
board in an attempt to make a Quinto. The subsequent
player again plays the next card in the sequence.
For example, if player #1 begins by playing the 2 of
hearts, the next player must play a 3 in any suit, the
third player must then play a 4 in any suit, the fourth
player must play a 5 and so on until the sequence stops. |
|
| 3. |
When a player cannot
continue the sequence, the person who played the last
card before the stop chooses a new suit and plays his/her
lowest card in that suit. The sequence then continues.
The player may play the Black King when it is time to
play that particular, suit i.e., spades or clubs.
The player may play the Red King at any time during
his/her turn. As in standard play, a round consists
of three Quintos, play stops, and the board is cleared.
The first player or team to reach 500 points wins! |
